Lake District Summer Music

Lake District Summer Music is a closely integrated Festival and Summer Music Academy.

Annual festivals present diverse and varied programmes performed by international musicians and ensembles, many of whom are brought to the area for the first time.

Cumbria’s inspiring landscape adds an incomparable dimension to the festival with venues including atmospheric historic churches and halls found in the region’s villages and towns.

Educational projects integrated with the festivals are designed to nurture young talented musicians, providing high quality training and public performance opportunities.
